Seriously, I DID buy it on that day. Heh.. Anyway.. I take REALLY good care of the systtem and I even run a Housefan on the SIDE of the system. (The Back is where it blows hot air OUT.. and the side has holes, so it definately should be cooling the system down well.) I haven't had ANY problems with the system yet, but I'm REALLY afraid of my 600 dollar investment breaking on me. I only play Football and Sports games on the 360 though, and NCAA football and Madden are around the corner, so if this system breaks, I'm screwed. Now.. I have 1,700 dollars coming soon and I only want to buy ONE thing and save the rest.Initially, I was going to buy a Computer and save the rest, but lately i've gotten afraid of my system breaking. Now, should I go out and buy a PS3 just incase the 360 breaks? I thought I might as well, because if that system breaks, Bill isn't getting **** from me.What do you guys think?

I'm pretty sure you can extend your warranty. Plus you get a three year RROD warranty and if it breaks you get a free 1 year warranty that covers everything. If you repair it.
You should be ok with your warranty and chances are your 360 wont catch RROD if you are taking as good care of it as you say
You have a 3 year warranty after you buy the system. Just call 1800-4my-xbox (1800-469-9269) and go through until you can speak to one of their customer service agents. They will hook you up.
So if my 360 DOES break, and I have an extended Warranty, what happens? Thing is, if I DO send it back, and it comes back, I'm probably going to sell it or something because I'm not putting all my time into it for no reason. It WILL break again. I mean, I play Madden and NCAA alot, so yeah..

^^^ Yeah, probably what I'm going to do. I've had 2 break on me already and I put alot of time into Madden, NCAA and NBA every year, so if that thing breaks, I'm done. So I'll buy a PS3 and have it just incase if the 360 breaks.
There's no way I would buy a ps3 if I had the money, but I guess it's up to you.
