New 360 Elite or Premium?

Well i have arcade games and my gamertag on the 360 i have now but i'm gonna bring it to bestbuy with my warranty to get my new 360. Should i get elite or premium? I have my account on my other HDD so i could just use that and put it on the premium but on the elite it may be hard to get my account since i didn't use a credit card. Also i will get HDMI cables if i get the elite but i don't think the extra money would matter. ALSO i bought my premium for 400, any chance when i get this premium they would give me $50 gift card? no right?New 360 Elite or Premium?
Sorry i don't know, you call and ask them, if you get a $50 GC. If you already have a HDD i don't see why you need an Elite.New 360 Elite or Premium?
IIRC, the Elite would come with a transfer cable to let you rip your data off your other HDD onto the one it comes with.

Either way, you could have always just recovered your gamertag.
For a hundred bucks more you get a black machine, and 100 more gigs. You could buy a few game with that 100$.

Um, that's not entirely accurate.

You get:

  • HDMI + pass-through cabling

  • 120GB hard drive (vs. 20GB)

  • More efficient cooling

  • an Xbox 360 that passed all of the most rigorous testing cycles that Microsoft does in their assembly

Seems not so bad for $100 more, if you can afford it.

The gamertag recovery doesn't have anything to do with a credit card. But anyway... it depends on what you will be downloading. If you will be donloading lots of movies, TV shows, arcade games, video game DLC, Xbox originals, demos and other stuff.... well it's a no brainer. Go with the Elite. But if you will be downloading only every so often, then get the Premium. I have the premium, and I download every other week or so, and I still have 10gb left. So, just go with what's best. The premium also has HDMI now.... so it is really just the hard drive space.
Personally the Premium is good enough unless you are planning on purchasing tv shows and do not want to erase demos and videos.

If you NEED the extra hard drive space then get an elite, otherwise there's no use. The new premiums come with an HDMI port as well.
