Do you think xbox live should be free?

I think it should!! since ps3 network is free, then why won't xbox live be free? That's why people are attracted to buy PS3. Wat do you think?Do you think xbox live should be free?

Yeah, but look at PSN compared to XBL.XBL (at least in my opinion) is unmatched when it comes to matchmaking (no pun intended). You can join a friend's game right from your dashboard. You can send messages, play music, and all that just by pressing the guide button.So I think the money they charge is justified. :D
It'd be nice if it were free, but if it came at the cost of some of it's finer feature then I would have to say no.

i think it should be free but paying members should get perks for their memberships as well as a configurable XBL based dash-board and 'net' browser.

The thing is, when we all get those surveys in our email we always think its a great value for the service. The head of the XBL department also says the same thing, price drop in consideation good feedback when it comes to live being a good value, no price drop.
well xbox live is way better quality then ps3's online.I want it to be free but i'd rather pay to get a better service.

no i dont care... its only 50 bucks for the year... what ever... you can find a dollar on the ground every week and have enough money to basically get you xbox live for the year... everyone needs to chill the money goes for a good cause.
yeah it should be Steam offers everything XBL does and you can download full games off it and its free. so if steam can do it so should XBL

I mean I get my XBL cards for like 30 bucks everytime so I have no problem with it...
If they can keep up the quality, I guess it would be fine if it were free. I really don't care that much. $50 a year is just so insignificant, even to young people.
