I need advice.........again.

About 2 weeks ago, i made a topic about what should i do about my 360 overheating (i did try the broken xbox thread). Well, i just had a idea. My idea involved taking apart the 360 and drilling holes into the console plates for better air circulation. But will it work?I need advice.........again.

I would suggest pointing a stand alone fan towards it. It's summer, so crank up the A/C as well.I need advice.........again.
I already have a NYKO intercooler fan for the 360 since i got the 360 (in late 2006). It just started overheating recently.
I've noticed that if i have my console standing up vertically instead of horizontally then it overheats less.I just tried it a few weeks ago actually. I put my console laying down horizontally and it overheated for the first time. O.o
I don't think that was a coincidence because i put it back to vertical and it hasnt happened thereafter. If it overheats either way...then idk :/ sorry (im sorta new to the xbox console)
youll void the warrenty by drilling holes
I think i'm PAST the warranty (i don't want to pay microsoft $100 to fix the problem they started).
I am glad you tried The Broken XBOX 360 Discussion %26 Help Thread, but please use it for broken 360 discussion. Thanks!
