Has cheating ruined GTA?

Hi. I know there are a few threads on here regards cheating and its effects on GTA IV, but none answer my particular question, and hey, I'm new on here, so please help me out.Basically, my cousin came round and he wanted to play on GTA and use some cheats. As I'd heard about cheats mucking up games, and especially GTA, I decided to start a 'New Game' and I let him do whatever he wanted in this new game, but I didn't save it at all. However, I was worried that when he put the helicopter cheat in, it said about the acheivments being blocked. Did my new game stop this affecting my Saved Game, the one I'm quite far along in? I'd hate for that to be the case. I didn't save that game at all, but will it still stop me getting the acheivments on my original game? Please write back, hopefully with some good news. Nah, welcome to Gamespot by the way. You're ok, your file will be fine because you never used the cheats on it. Even on the account you created all you have to do is restart or cancel the cheat. Then you are back to normal as if you never put the cheat in the first place.
