On some ol' games you have, it can either be Xbox 360 or any other console, and remember when you first got the game, it looked amazing, and now, after months of not playing it, it doesn't look so great. That's the way Gears of War to me is. That game was so amazing looking, but now, it's pretty bland.Do you guys ever do that?Do you ever look back..
Happens to me with pretty much every game I get after a month or so.Do you ever look back..
I can only play most games for a month or 2 before they become boring to me. Although, sometimes I won't play a game for a very long time and then I'll go back and play it again and it's just as fun as playing it for the first time.
Yes (Orange Box, Brawl, Halo 3)Not that I'm saying they're bad games, I'm just saying that they don't hold my interest.
Thats why I stick to PC games...*cough* Crysis *cough* I play my xbox every now and then but my real pleasure comes from my computer, I built it, I can upgrade it and play games that look 100 time better than xbox. But my xbox serves a good purpose if I need to just chill and play a mediocre shooter.
All too often. I prefer to look back and remember awesome games that are still awesome!Like Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. God I love that game. It's still one fo the all time FPS greats.
Some games continue to amaze me (Oblivion)
Oblivion is like that. Gears never turns old.
I don't think it helps to remember a game for it's obsoleteness so much as it is to remember what moments that game gave us when we playing it. I can look back in fondness at confronting Psycho Mantis in Metal Gear Solid, the ending of Mass Effect, or unlocking a rare car in GT4. These are moments stuck in time that you can go back and reminisce on - you shouldn't be considering the graphical limitations.
I remember the hype over the graphics in F.E.A.R., it's still awesome, but its graphics have worn with time

I know I have a few that just sit there. Loved them at 1st, played them till the end, then they just sit there. Mostly ones that only have a story line to them like God of war or ninty nine nights. Played till the end and then never go back!! Ones like halo, GRAW and COD4 never get old because you can jump on with friends and just play!
