No, only official 360 hard drives can be used.can you replace 20gb with 120gb in 20 gb ...
why not? i was surfing on ebay and this guy replaced his 20 gig with a 120gig laptop HDD...is there some kind of special programing. how about if you use that memory transfer thing to move memory from 20 gig to 120gig?
I'm betting that inside a s60 harddrive is just a plain old SATA laptop drive.
It is absolutely just a plain ol' laptop 2.5'' drive. However, I know that not all 2.5'' HDD's work. I had found a website a few months ago with specific instructions on how to get a Western Digital laptop drive to work just by taking out the old 20GB and putting in the Western Digital 120GB HDD. In fact, let me see if I can find that website again..............Ok, I think this is it:http://beta.ivancover.com/wiki/index.php/Xbox_360_Hard_Drive_UpgradeI've never tried this, so I'm not saying this is gospel, but you might want to try doing your own searches as well.Just remember, almost anything can be converted, modified, manipulated, etc. if it's based on computers and programming.
possibly but that would 100% cut off your consoles warranty i think.
I don't think so cause when you send in a 360 for repair you don't send in the harddrive.
