best shooter single player

what do you think are the shooters with the best single player on 360for me:1)Half Life 2 (Orange Box) was just a great single player game2)Call of Duty 4 the single player although short was awesome and a fun challenge to get the mile high club 3)Gears of War pretty good but was awesome with a friendanother would be Halo 3 but only if you had 3 friends with you. otherwise i thought it was pretty mediocrebest shooter single player
by single player i didnt mean only 1 player. co op campaign modes count tobest shooter single player
1) MGS4. I know its not on the 360 but its the best damn single player Ive ever played
2) Oblivion
3) Mass Effect
if were just talking about shooters, id have to say bioshock.
Id say COD4 unless ur goin through Halo 3 with a buddy or two. Then id say halo 3 takes it

Bioshock for its story, Gears for its gameplay, and Half Life 2 for its overall awesomeness

I was more bored by Mass effect... mostly after roaming around lost... and visiting lots of planets with seemingly nothing to do. I won't go to deep into that unless necessary.
i personally found bioshock boring. i know a lot of people liked it for the atmosphere but i didnt like it. and i loved it a first. but then i got to a point where i just wanted it to end.
and playing bioshock a second time through........not possible

half life is overrated it is a good game it's just not THAT great for it's time it was a good game but now..........
