How do you have fun w/ Oblivion

Ive written bout this before but im still not really into oblivion. ive had a days worth of playing time but its mainly doing quests and the arena missions. i wanna know what ppl do when they play? i honestly think the combat isnt that great but i mite be doin something wrong. ne thoughts?How do you have fun w/ Oblivion

Currently exploring Shivering Isles.
Same here, I can't really get into oblivion. It might be the class i am (sorcerer).
Occasionly with my assasin character, when not doing quests or exploring, I go into town, pick a target, follow them and when there asleep, I kill them and loot them and their houses, escape town and sell the ill gotten goods. I only do it every once in awhile to add a little fun to the game when it seems mundane.
i turn the difficulty way down get my player to max level and go on a deranged killing spree killing everyone then i get all achievements and turn it into gamestop for $15
I just go around killing stuff and getting loot
Follow the main quest first. As soon as you get into it, you can just sidetrack and go into guilds and other things like that. Explore the world, meet new people who give you missions.

Everything in the game is fun for me. I guess it's not for everyone though...

|It's definitely not a game for everyone, but if you like RPGs you should see what makes it fun. Maybe you just purchased the wrong game.
Try living that live in another world, explore meet people for sidequests join guilds i dont know there is plenty of stuff that can make you have fun remember its an RPG so you should get into your character and behave the way you would I think thats the point in oblivion

When it first came out, man I could not put it down. I must've put over 80 hours into it... but now, I can't seem to bring my self to play it :( And I really would like to get back into it.
